He's being hypercritical of his South Korean allies, hypercritical of his Western European allies.

Defending South Korea has been a major part of that since the end of the Kore n the Korean War.
I think the armistice was what, 1953, 54, something like that.
And so that's when Korea was divided.
So this is yet another American ally around the world who is thinking.
