It's tough.

I would say Mahomes this year, there was less just blanket love for Mahomes than usual, even though he got 41% of the first place votes, which was actually more than Josh Allen.

But he had a lot of votes outside of the top three, more than he ever had.

There was more feeling like, okay, it's been two or three years of, for his standards at least, not elite play.

So that was interesting.

Joe Burrow, I would say Joe Burrow created more debate in the last two days on like, why is he four?

He's hurt all the time.

I don't get that from the NFL people.

They love Joe Burrow.

The durability is an issue.

But I think if he wasn't hurt, he'd be like two.

I mean, he's really revered in the league.

You know, Lamar Jackson's always a hot rod topic, but less so now because he's proven as a passer.

It used to be more of an issue when he was nine or 10 or 11 on this list.

It's like, how could you do that?

He's too good.

Now he's proven as a passer.

Now it's more like, okay, well, is he durable enough or is he going to lose his speed?
