Yeah.

I don't know what was shielding it.

I know it was very painful when I was in my teens and wanted to be part of a group, a gang, meet people, have a girlfriend, anything like that.

I would go into parties and leave immediately if anybody looked at me.

I think going on to do what I did and...

becoming kind of known had a big effect on helping me because after a few years it became my role to settle people if I went in and just to initiate it.

So you learn ways of coping and learn skills with that.

And now I don't care.

But it holds people back.

It's kind of dreadful.

It just stops you doing things.

It stops you having experience.

I remember, this is how shy I was.

I had this amazing opportunity to go to South Korea.

It was the day after 9-11 that we flew out.

I was on a project out there and I was filming and the crew were leaving a few days.

I think I was going to London.

They were coming back to Dublin.

I didn't leave the hotel room after they left.

So I didn't mind working in a place.
