You had talked to him about the address book and so that kind of threw me off a little bit.
I said, the story that you give in the podcast is not really what you told me growing up.
And he says,
The story he always told me growing up was that um he had to take some reports or something to the county.
And on his way he stopped at the gas station because that's what the cops did.
They stopped to get a drink or whatever.
He had stopped and he had talked to her because she was working.
And then he left.
Um, he never told me how long he had been gone, but by the time he came back, um, he saw a lot of commotion outside.
And so he stopped to see what was what was going on and they said that Nancy was missing.
