Toughness is just different than what society really describes as toughness.
And to me, it's like, Karl-Anthony Towns is soft.
Karl-Anthony Towns doesn't play defense.
You can't win with Karl-Anthony Towns.
The guy is rewriting his narrative every year.
It's just, are you paying attention?
This is not the first time that Cat has risen to the occasion.
He's done that in the past against the best players.
His series against Jokic, there's been multiple bigs where when it comes time to it, he rises to the occasion and he's doing that with Wemby right now.
But it's also him anchoring the defense.
It's also him in the locker room or him in the timeouts and him and the sound bites that you are now getting to hear because he's mic'd up because of the NBA Finals.
His ability to be able to do these things is very different than the super loud rah-rah, I'm in your face, and the clickbait or social things where it's like, you know, I'm getting in fights and what, it's different, right?
So he has this inner strength and this inner toughness and this quiet confidence, but that doesn't make him less confident, right?
Then the person that's like, that's more expressive about it.
You know, that's what takes time to be able to see.
Cat is extremely strong.
Cat is extremely tough.
And Cat rises to the occasion, and he has been doing that.
And that's why he's so successful.
