And so he was very susceptible to John Bunting and shared his thoughts of revenge to some extent.

Yeah, and that wasn't deliberate.

And I think everything they did, they had an excuse for.

So it wasn't so much a justification or a reason.

I think it was an excuse.

And the reality is John Bunting modelled himself as some sort of anti-pedophile crusader.

The truth is he had a burning hatred for homosexual people and he really couldn't differentiate between the two, which was very wrong because it just wasn't true about many of his victims.

And even those of his victims who were pedophiles,

You know, they had endured their own trauma that had led them down that path, if you like, and they didn't deserve what they got.

And that's what happened.

And that's what happened early on.

But I think it wasn't too long after that that James Vlasakis, at least what he says, is that it wasn't too long after that that it became more about fear than having a saviour or justice.

Well, they murdered his half-brother, Troy

had been abusing him.

But they murdered his friend.

They murdered his stepbrother.

They murdered people that James Vlasakis liked.

It got to the point where he was actively involved in the luring of these people to their deaths.

And it became as much about bloodlust for John Bunting and Robert Wagner as it did about any other kind of motive and theft and stealing their money.
