Well, I think he was a quiet, introverted, troubled in himself young
who never created any trouble outside of himself.
And he was picked on for what he was by a man who killed him, you know, bashed his head in with a shovel.
There's just so much tragedy in the Clinton-Dressas part of the story in that firstly, the way he was murdered,
reason he was murdered.

where his body was dumped in a paddock north of Adelaide to just lay there for years.
The fact that he wasn't reported missing for several years after he vanished.
No one knew what had happened to him and he didn't have that kind of close relationship with anyone who would just persistently say, this isn't right, someone should look for him, someone should find him.
He didn't have that.
And even when they found his remains and even when he became an active missing person, there was a mistake there, a forensic mistake that didn't put two and two together early on.
And that, you could say, enabled things to continue on.
Yeah, so Ray Davies was a very troubled young man.
He was a pedophile.
He had become a nuisance in the neighbourhood.
He would commit indecent acts in the street.
He drew attention to himself.
He was known to police and he was troubling the area.
