We set up programs all over the country and set up travel teams and AAA teams and AAA leagues to put together our USA training facility in Michigan and the development program.
has done a lot to make sure that kids have the opportunity to play and have the best teaching and the best coaching and getting more arenas to allow more kids the opportunity to play.
In Canada, there are arenas every corner.
We're starting to get that in more places in the States because of the popularity, because of what USA Hockey is doing, investing into
youth hockey.
And I think it's paying off.
You know, we're winning junior championships.
You know, we're getting closer in world championships.
Our women's teams are always competitive and winning more than the men are.
So we're just doing a good job of putting the money where it needs to go and getting good coaching.
And with wins like this,
We're going to have more kids that are going to go to the rink this week and going to sign up to skate.
They're going to sign up to play hockey.
And those kids are going to grow into the next generation.
It's pretty special.
I mean, we're way behind in Canada when it comes to the love of the game, but we're definitely getting better in allowing more kids to play it.
I think it was one of the best stories of the Olympics, especially of the gold medal game.
You know, the jersey has been in that locker room for every international, every international match from the four nations last year to the world championships and now in the Olympics.
