I mean, when I first started, the first house that I built as a superintendent was on the island of Palm Beach.
It was probably a 4,000 square foot house.
It was an infill lot and a small pool.
Beautiful, you know, high quality construction.
We built it for $500 a foot, plus or minus, including a pool, like all the site work and all that stuff.
um we just did one that was over 3 000 a foot that's insane so like it's it's just this was 10 years ago no the first so that that house i did in 2011.
15 years ago yeah so 15 years ago i built the house out of the ground um for like 500 foot 510 a foot um and like my you know
we're now averaging somewhere around $1,000 to $1,200 a square foot.
We don't price on a cost per square foot basis, but like after the job's done, that's sort of when you go back and figure out like what does it actually cost per square foot?
And that's kind of where we're at.
There are guys that are doing, their average is $2,500 a square, $3,000 a square.
I know of a job that's going around like $5,000 a square.
I mean, it's insane.
It's insane.
I don't know.
Those numbers to me even blow my mind.
I can't wrap my head around that.
We haven't gotten to that point yet.
