So in their, like, 80s.
And, of course, I was like, oh, my gosh, poor things, taking people to the airport and they should be just retired.
My grandma, she always told me she thought she was born in the wrong decade.
She wanted to be just a businesswoman.
And she became that in her 80s, just running this cab company.
Yes.
If you had said this is like what you're going to go through or what my parents – no way.
And then you realize you're just more strong than you give yourself credit for.
I've thought about this because I think when I first started my first company, I think there was a part of me that, if I'm truly being honest with myself in this moment, was I wanted to make up for the loss that my family had just received, not just financially but emotionally.
You know, I wanted my parents, I wanted to do something so good that the bad became white noise.
And so I started this, you know, social impact company called Headbands of Hope and went really well.
We did headbands for the NBA, the WNBA, eventually got on to get acquired.
It was.
Yeah.
You have this date on your calendar, maybe it's an acquisition, maybe it's a promotion, maybe it's something, and you say to yourself, once I can get this, then I can relax, be with my family, then I can feel successful, then I can feel fulfilled.
I've not met one person where that's actually been true.
