Great to be here.
So I have a background in event operations.
So for 15 years have worked alongside festival organisers, event founders to find their operational gaps and generally fill them with a technological solution.
The last five years I've worked for Weaser Ven.
They do ticketing, accreditation, access control and on-site payment systems.
So um
Yeah, they they really do do all of the technology that you might use on site um for an operational deployment.
Um in the UK we've been around for yeah, about five, six
six ish years, um generally doing more on-site payment systems and access control, although ticketing is now becoming uh more and more of what we do as well.
Yeah, exactly.
And it's not just operational, it's also we see commercial benefits too.
So more and more we're seeing um event organizers utilising data sets from all kinds of areas, pulling them together to really understand the customer journey.
So to have Wheeze Event be able to do all of those things, um yeah, just joins up all of those dots nicely rather than having to sort of uh
work out the data and match it all up later, it's already done.
So closed loops, probably even around, I don't know, 10 years.
Um, but we see it more and more in like the large-scale uh European festivals, more than we have done in the UK.
Um, and I think it's still sort of an emerging technology for majority of UK festivals.
Um so it works by customers topping up uh, I don't know, a wristband or a card or something, um, which is then
