But I hope that when people walk away from that, they think about, oh, in what ways am I being more curious about
With people around me, like if I am going to a house party or I am in mixed company of like a friend of a friend's house or like a group of 12, but I only know half the people there.
Am I only talking to the people that I know or am I broadening my horizons and engaging other people around me?
And I think.
I mean, I don't know.
I'm one of those existential people who's on a bus being like, all of these people have birthdays and they have people who know their birthdays.
And we're just like not crossing that barrier at all times.
Like everyone has a universe in themselves that we we might learn from or be surprised by.
And when we're not engaging with each other.
on a regular basis, then we're missing out on all of those worlds that are around us, you know?
And I think every time we walk out of the house, we can be surprised by who we meet.
Absolutely.
I mean, I travel when I'm traveling for work or travel alone a lot.
And, like, I'm a closeted introvert.
I would say people are really surprised to find out I'm an introvert because of my work.
But I love bringing a book to a restaurant and, like, the people watching is unmatched.
If you sit at a bar with a book and, like, have...
a two course meal and a couple glasses of wine, like you will meet, you will observe a lot of characters.
They may or may not engage.
Like anything can happen when you eat alone.
