Number one, they're not allowed to have meetings with the opponent coaching staff in person.
And number two, they're not allowed to watch practice of the uh of the opponent in person.
Now, watching the practice, I kind of get that.
I mean, you can sit there and you can see formations and you can see personnel groupings, trick plays, uh two-point conversions, whatever it is.
Um, and you absolutely could jot that down and you could forward that on to uh to your own team.
So I I sort of get that.
Why you're not allowed to get a lot of people who are not going to
allowed to meet with another coach in person.
makes no sense to me.
Like it is it's like poker.
Like you're gonna be there in person and you're gonna you're gonna see a tell or you're gonna find out something that maybe they're they're telling you the truth of or they're not.
But this is what I will say too.
And I and I I I'm sure it's probably not only football.
I'm sure it's hockey, baseball, every sport out there.
And you guys could tell me.
But a lot of coaches are absolutely paranoid.
And coaches always believe that somehow, some way, you know, they're just trying to prevent information from getting out and from leaking.
And so they get anal about cameras at practice and who's allowed to watch practice and who's that over there on top of the parking garage looking at us.
But I remember calling a game early in my career at ESPN in college football, and we were calling a Vanderbilt South Carolina game.
South Carolina was coached by my former coach, Steve Spurrier.
