So over the course of a full season, you would expect that to show.
But, you know, the Rays are good.
They're always pesky.
But if you had to ask me, if you were forcing me to pick two teams that the division would be a race between right now, I would still say the Yankees and the Blue Jays with the clause in there that they have to get healthy relatively soon.
John Schneider always gets criticized for Yankees starters early, and this guy... It can apply to other pitchers in the rotation, obviously.
It's not just one guy, but they are not...
you allow a few runs, it's going to go up.
So his ERA up to three Oh five, but his whip did fall because he only had one walk today.
And while he still kind of battled some command issues at times, it wasn't to the point where he was actually walking guys and only having the one walk I think is the
massive for him.
And part of the reason he was able to get to the seventh inning, because you look at some of his other starts, you know, he had a season high four on April 8th against the Dodgers.
He had three in his next start against the Brewers.
He had three in his last start against the Red Sox.
And that's part of the reason why he hasn't been able to go the distance or as far as, as Blue Jays fans would want to see him get to.
And I also do wonder, like, I don't watch 162 games.
I don't frankly watch all that much of San Diego Padres baseball at all.
But how dare you?
Their defense must have been just horrendous last year.
Because the fact that this guy had the numbers that he had.
When he has the stuff that he has, it's just something was very off there.
