The thing that got me the most excited about hearing C's talk there is, like, if that's a gritty performance where he doesn't have his best stuff and feels like he's battling his command, then...
this guy's he's got Cy Young potential yeah like really he does like because he was at times dominant today in a start where he didn't feel a hundred percent which tells me so much about his ability that he can navigate through that and still go seven innings I mean what what a signing by this team and and I it caught me by surprise a little bit because I don't think necessarily yeah when he signed I didn't think that that was necessarily the focus going into the offseason um
I thought someone like Okamoto was more of importance because Bo was probably going to leave and did eventually leave.
But when they signed him, I was like, well, I guess you can never have too much pitching.
He's even better than I thought he was going to be.
And we'll see how it holds up the rest of the season.
But to hear him talk like that and put up what he put up today on a day he didn't have his best is very encouraging.
I think any time Trey Savage goes to the Hill, the expectations are high.
Maybe unfairly because what blew me away is just hearing the number thrown around.
