And a lot of people took their life in this prison, which is shocking because, again, it's a jail.

It's not a prison.

There's not a lot of people in there at one time.

And just you hear story after story of it.

But the craziest one in that respect is Mae Varner.

Which, dude, I feel bad for a lot of people that we've covered on this show.

But man, so she was already trying to take too much medication and they pump her stomach.

And after they pump her stomach, they bring her to the Licking County Jail, not to arrest her, but just to sort of keep an eye on her.

Right, make sure she's okay and let her go in the morning when she comes to.

They put her in a cell on the fourth floor.

The fourth floor is where they held all the women prisoners in this jail.

And they put her in there.

And 45 minutes later, the guard comes to check on her.

And she's on fire.

She had somehow got a match in there and lit herself on fire on the fourth floor.

And she didn't die right away, but she succumbed to her injuries later at the hospital because of them.

And how she manages to do that with a match, first of all, is crazy.

The fact that nobody discovered it for 45 minutes either...

is wild.

I understand not doing your rounds every two seconds, but you would think with a fire going on.
