He can win some face-offs.
Yes, he can.
He is a professional, very good veteran through and through with plenty of term left on his contract.
If he is the option, and it's going to cost you,
um you know compared to the start of the tournament to now with what you've seen where do you guys stand on vincent trocek from the rangers for the record it's about a 20 point difference 20 percentage difference in face-off percentage for uh jack eichel and vincent trocek yeah trocek would be your face off i mean yeah just that simple i like i mean i like it i think the first he was very underwhelming right but so were a number of players i think there
And you might not like the price.
I feel like with Jack, it would be a little bit more like, oh, my God, they got Jack.
He was unbelievable.
Oh, they paid this.
Oh, that's a lot.
But I feel like Trocheck, there will be more like sticker shock because it's Trocheck.
In fairness, I think the issue also was salary gap.
Like, I think Billy was trying to add guys from the bargain bin because he couldn't absorb as much contract.
And I think with Trocek, they can definitely absorb that.
So that might be a difference.
But I'm just saying, yeah, the sticker shock is going to be there.
But can you afford not to have a guy that can win face-offs?
And I think, I don't think you can.
