I was listening to Howard Stern in the morning.
And he was informing me of what was happening, that the buildings were, that one building had been hit.
I heard him when the second building was hit.
That's how I found out that there were two planes.
You know, my mother was paging me.
I had a beeper.
my mother was paging me 911 and i pulled over and ended up not going over the bridge to the bronx that day because my mother and howard stern you know was giving me information that was important in real time um about you know the possibility of me getting you know the bridges were going to close and and of course all
all of the city just shut down completely.
So I didn't go to school that day.
And I got dinged on my eventual grade for my journalism class for not showing up four days in total.
But yeah, I mean, Stern, I will never forget that day.
That is how I learned what was happening.

And he said, and he delivered the news so calmly and so...
and so earnestly and, you know, didn't pull any punches.
You know, I think when he, I remember, I recall him saying something about like after the second tower being hit, he's like, this might be terrorism.
We're not saying it's terrorism, but he like, you know, would give his own like take, but like would, you know,
make sure that he, that his audience knew he wasn't, he wasn't, he didn't have any special information.
He wasn't like going to gaslight people into information that he, he definitely didn't know.
