He went on the bus.

He was fine.

But I got a text from the chaplain.

Well, actually, I got a text from my friend who works at school saying, oh, Tay was really upset this morning.

And I was like, why?

He said, oh, he was talking about his dad.

I was like, oh, gosh, poor babe.

Anyway, he ended up being fine.

But I text the chaplain.

So when he got home, I said, oh, were you okay?

He said, yeah, I was just really sad about daddy.

And then the boys kind of hassled him and said,

bro like why are you sad about daddy you know and he said from from what happened to me I was grade two when it happened and you don't know what it feels like to be grade two which is year three in New Zealand you don't know what it feels like to be my age and that happening and so that must have been what the past you know the chaplain maybe had told I don't know anyway so I text her said thank you for looking after my baby this morning

And she said, oh, love, what an honor.

Sorry, I did give him a chappy hot chocolate.

He loved him.

I said, he told me, I said, haha, he told me.

And he said, you prayed with him.

What a blessing you are.

And she wrote back, I did.
