Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Maryland Governor Wes Moore released a joint statement pledging to speed up reconstruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge as well as the American Legion Bridge, both critical in connecting Maryland to D.C.

and Virginia.

Late last year, the Maryland Transportation Authority said the Francis Scott Key Bridge would cost as much as $5.2 billion to rebuild, far more than the initial cost estimate, and that it couldn't be done before 2030, when the original goal was 2028.

Duffy and Moore said they talked about cost-sharing for the Francis Scott Key Bridge, as well as a public-private partnership for the American Legion Bridge.

Treasury officials imposed new sanctions on 18 companies and individuals, including the Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security, who called for violence against the protesters.

Others are sanctioned for laundering the proceeds of Iranian oil sales.

President Trump said he believes reports Iranian officials do not have any plans to hold executions of protesters.

While activist groups estimate as many as 12,000 may have been killed by the regime, Iran's foreign minister told Fox News terrorists from outside of Iran are behind the protest killings.

The regime has shut off the internet and jammed Starlink, making it difficult for Iranians to report what's really happening.

During Wednesday's issues, thousands of Verizon customers reported seeing an SOS bar in the top right corner, meaning the phone wasn't connected to the network.

While some reported issues with mobile signal, others had problems with Wi-Fi and broadband.

Verizon said it was tied to a software issue and said they're conducting a review.

For now, though, they're giving affected customers a $20 credit.

They'll send it to people via text.

If you get it, though, you have to redeem it through your account on the Verizon app in order for it to apply.
