I mean, there's a good, I haven't written the numbers up to date, but a third of the members killed have been women killed.
Right.
They were looking at the 135 that crashed.
There was two women on that.
There was two women in the last one that came through.
And then there were, you said five.
It sounds about right to me based on the numbers, but the initial one that came out, it kicked off.
I know there was at least one or two in there.
Great question.
I think first...
that the United States military has always reflected the values and the demographics of American society we recruit from.
So I think we're an early indicator of what could happen in the future if we leave small details that go unchecked.
Because something that happens that seems small now might have ripple effects 10 years from now that we don't see that are going to be much larger.
And then two, who wants to have a military that is political?
We've always been apolitical.
And I think I've never flown with another pilot and looked to my left or right, depending on the seat I was at, and I wondered if they were Democrat or Republican, because that, quite frankly, I didn't care.
All I cared is that individual had my back.
So when we let politics creep into the military like this, we have a divisiveness within our own culture.
Now, I haven't seen it, but I think it's going to start when we're like, well, oh, no, this person's on my crew and it's going to impact our performance.
And when it impacts performance, then it makes our military less lethal.
