Root beer feels like a thing you can only have once a year.
I feel like root beer is here at the fair or something.
Like a diner or something, you get a root beer, but I don't think root beer is something that is consumed on a daily basis.

Yeah, I associate it with a float, so it feels like a special occasion.
But I don't like it, so I'm not going to have it on any occasion.
