Remember how Ted Cruz was the voice of reason when this happened with Jimmy Kimmel just a few months ago?

It feels like forever ago, but it was just a few months.

They are obviously, you know, trying to run the same playbook.

They attempted this with The View.

Tallarico was on The View a couple of weeks ago.

And...

You know, it's disappointing that corporate media keeps bending the knee.

Corporate law firms, corporate media, anything with corporate in front of it seems to not be doing that well, finding their spine in the Trump era.

But I thought it was very well handled by Colbert.

And, you know, I was one of the millions of people that immediately clicked that YouTube link and listened to the interview.

And, you know, it gave them a bit of a badass sheen to kind of arguably say,

you know, dorky guys like Stephen Colbert and James Tallarico wouldn't normally have.

But, you know, I think it's just another lesson in how things go during the Trump era.

It will continue down this path, and people need to continue to find their voice against it.

I just, like, don't understand, though, why the Trump administration keeps...

committing these own goals, right?

Because it's just going to drive people.

I mean, I was going to watch James Tallarico no matter what, but there are a lot of people who wouldn't normally tune into Colbert or don't particularly care about James Tallarico or even know what's going on in the Texas Senate primary on the Democratic side who are now more interested in him.
