I came across a term in this that I'd never heard before in this article and it's a new school of thought called critical gerontology.

And it's basically about focusing on the positive effects of aging, including the improved sex lives for women.

And the article ends by saying maybe there will be two kinds of sex, sex for young people and sex for old people.

And the second of those things will give our girls something to look forward to.

Which I thought was like, you're not trying to have sex like young people.

It's a totally different thing.

And in fact, what's being argued in this is that it's better, which is something I've heard from a lot of women.

Yeah, I wonder if whether it's Me Too or if there's a brand of feminism that has made people a little bit asexual or scared of sex or finding the power dynamics and the discussion around consent has maybe made sex something a little bit ugly to a generation in a way that it didn't for Gen X.

Do you think too that, thinking back to this trend that we've talked about a few times on the podcast of the younger man, older woman, do you think that too, the reason that that is being explored in a lot of different avenues is because it's assumed that the young man has grown up with porn and that basically his sexual awakening, his sexual desires, everything has been shaped by, for all the bad things of porn, what it has done is opened up a whole world of things
