How tired are you by the end of the postseason?
It's a lot more work before the show than it is during the show. I would imagine that you're the one doing most of that work.
You are overprepared by what, 90%? The best shows are leaving how much on the notebook that never gets on the air?
How are you not more efficient than this at this point in your career? How is it possible that you're still this bad at this?
It's funny to think, though, that the best, the very best, they're always overprepared. If I told you Eric Reid, the Heat broadcaster, what he has to do before game 79 of the regular season, and it's just for your comfort level, right, Ernie? Or is it just patterns? At this point, my guess is that you could pretty much go in there and wing it.
You couldn't emotionally, but we wouldn't be able to tell.
I've always found you refreshingly honest and transparent. And I don't want to put you in a bad spot as it regards everything that's happening with your show. What can you say to us that's not talking points about what the last year of discomfort has been around the general uncertainty of your employer?
Did you say very early before, during the uncertainty, before anyone else had said anything, there is no circumstance under which I will be working for anybody else?

Do you think that the three-pointer has distorted basketball so much that we're going to get a lot more uninteresting basketball games decided by 15 points in the playoffs instead of buzzer beaters and close games at the end because of how much the game has been distorted by the three?
Seems like there are fewer close games the last couple of years of playoffs. But I'm just doing that from view. I'm not doing that empirically.
What's the surprise you're expecting to happen that is going to be a surprise to others but Ernie thinks will be so? Detroit beating New York. Any upsets?
Ernie has said it it's been said do not sleep on the Pacers he doesn't do this stuff casually when Ernie says it it means more than the average person saying it you don't hear Ernie saying things like that

The team that is better than Boston is OKC. I just think I believe in what that team has done in the regular season, but I also believe that most people think that team is too young to win the championship. Teams that young do not win the championship.
Do you expect that the Boston Celtics will be in the finals?
