And that was a huge game changer.
That actually resulted in me being able to get a very even spread and even growth rate in my lambs last year.
And it was a serious game changer.
There's a saying over here in Australia that a lot of us in the sheep community talk about, which is that, you know, we ask how these other sheep farms are surviving.
And one of my friends says, because they're eating the silver, Jill.
You know, it's almost as if there's a lot of legacy and family history in a lot of big farms, purists, as you call them.
And they're struggling.
Absolutely, they struggle.
They struggle financially.
They struggle to diversify.
They struggle to reinvent themselves.
And I think, you know, we want those family farms, those purists, those legacy farms to continue.
And they need to move with the times.
They need to, you know, look at not just eating the silver.
They are locally using wool for a lot of
strange things, surfboards and lipsticks and fire retardant products and compost and all this sort of stuff.
So they're being quite innovative when it comes to wool and that's hopefully allowing people to get a little bit of value from their wool.
I'd say now it'd be...
depending on the quality, again, you know, if you're a fine merino grower, that is your product, really.
You're not getting much for the meat.
