I mean, like, so the question is basically like, how would an asset allocator, like an investor approach buying a tokenized asset?
I would think so.
And I also think that it makes, it clearly differentiates like, so like, let's say Apollo Acred, that's a credit fund.
Like if you can access that type of product through like a traditional pathway, like then it needs to be clear, why would you purchase this asset through like the on-chain tokenized path?
And like the kind of pros and cons need to be different.
Otherwise, like what's the point of upgrading and what are you getting for it?
And so-
And in addition to that, you're not just, you know, you're also exposing or taking on additional like perceived types of risk with smart contracts and like new technology that you haven't used before.
And like a whole new risk assessment has to be done.
And so, yes, the ability to redeem earlier, ideally also at a price close to NAV or like a price where the discount is not so much lower than NAV that...
economics don't make sense, is a huge advantage and a huge reason why an investor would consider allocating via tokenized product versus just the off-chain product.
It would be the same as for them to consider like, I can buy this
asset that might sit in a brokerage account and that earns a return, but I can't really do anything with because I don't know easily, like, how do I, can I use, can I borrow against it?
Can I, can I sell it?
How can I redeem?
Versus one where the same underlying economics of that asset and the yield source, but that has like clear exit pathways that are off redemption cycle.
And that can be used in a variety of different collateral markets and transferred more easily peer to peer.
depending on obviously like the different KYC parameters.
The secondary market today for all the ways like,
Six percent of like there's an interesting report that came out that said very not not surprising, but like 94 percent of holders of RWAs or got those RWAs by directly subscribing with the issuer, which means like the remaining six percent maybe purchased it through secondaries.
