He's rested, guys.
Right now, Dansby's getting a couple days off.
He'll be back in there tomorrow.
He did it with Ian Happ, and Ian seemed to perform better after that little break.
He's tried everything.
He's juggled the lineup a little bit.
The problem is, in all phases of the game, except for the bullpen, they've struggled, right?
For the longest time, the bats were dormant.
And then starting pitching kind of went south.
Injury is obviously a big part of that story.
So pitching wasn't able to pick up the lack of offense.
And sometimes that's what you need.
You need that guy.
Ben Brown's been the exception.
A guy that can go out there and give you seven innings of one-run ball.
So you scratch out a couple, three runs, and you end up winning a game.
That just hasn't happened enough.
But it's got to come from the players.
The guys that are expected to produce have to produce.
And if it doesn't happen, then they're not going to make a push.
