The whole team is struggling, you're not scoring runs, and you're the guy that just signed the big contract.

That's a lot of heat that's on him.

Yeah, Imanaga, you know, he's a fly ball guy, so home runs are always going to be part of the equation for him.

Obviously, he needs to do a better job of keeping the ball in the ballpark.

He and Jamo are 1-2 in home runs allowed.

The good news for Imanaga, and we've talked about it all year, the velo has picked up a little bit from what we saw second half of last year.

I think there's a crisis of confidence that happens, right, when you give up the long ball and you can almost see it on his face.

I think he's just kind of lacking a little confidence right now.

And, you know, his next start will come here at Coors Field, so that's no fun either.

But, yeah, so who is Imanaga becomes the question, right?

Is he the guy we saw that first year and then –

first few starts this year or is he the guy we saw a second half of last year and more recently and you know scramble it all up and he's kind of somewhere in between all that i think he's still going to be a solid mid-rotation arm uh going forward um you just hope uh you know he's able to regain some confidence and and get on a little bit of a roll cabrera um i'm with you it's been disappointing uh the stuff is really good so he's the kind of arm you dream on and

you know, hopefully they can work with and whether it's pitch selection, you know, pitch shape, whatever it is, um, you know, they need to get him headed in the right direction.

He was so close last time out there, you know, that would come backers.

If he leaves it alone, they get a double play, they get out of the inning and the narrative completely changes.

Um, but having said that, you still have to get out after the, you know, you make that mistake.
