Futures markets say it's more likely than not the Fed will gonna raise rates.
The futures markets are almost always wrong.
People don't understand futures markets.
They're not predictive markets.
It's a weighted average of everybody making bets today.
Uh and um there are lots of reasons to be on one side or the other, but that's all it is.
It's it has it has information, it's data, it has value, but it's not it's the predictive value is extremely low.
So the Fed's not gonna raise interest rates, so we can kind of kind of put that to one side.
Um
Yeah.
And as far as uh uh Peter Navarro uh uh uh I'm sorry, uh uh Secretary Besson, Besson came out a couple of years ago with the three three three plan.
He called it three hours.
And he said going back to the debt to GDP ratio, he said you've you've gotta basically keep the deficits at or below three percent of GDP, right?
And you gotta keep growth.
at or above 3% of GDP, right?
And if you do that, the ratio comes down and the market will be reassured.
But here's here's what he left out.
Growth is nominal.
If I owe you a dollar, I owe you a dollar.
Interesting whether it's worth more or less than it used to be, but it it's a it's a buck.
