You know, when the elk would come out of the forest, out of the park, and they'd get on.
I stepped on the Gallatin National Forest, and holy smokes.
One day, I counted 96 hunters up there.
They had built snow forts to hide, you know, and herd of elk.
And then you go to the bar that night, his bar is called the town bar.
And everybody talking about how many elk they had today.
Well, I seen a herd at 95 come out and they killed 90, 94 of them, you know, but they changed that whole structure now, man.
And then the wolf stepped in, you know, they had like a couple thousand cow tags.
It was nuts.
And the wardens would ride around on horses.
And I was there.
I was just, I never hunted there.
