Long story short, so Jaeger's up on this mountain and he hears me shoot three times.
So we go to camp that night.
I said, what the hell happened?
Why did you have to shoot three times?
He says, I said, well, I don't know.

I said, I'm using a .30-06.
He said, well, that's your damn problem.
We're sitting around a campfire, right?
So he walks over with his Weatherby Mark V .300.
He says, here's a man's gun.
Get rid of that goddamn pipsqueak.
So he didn't know, but I had promised that gun to my son.
because Claire Conley told me to use other guns, so I got his Weatherby, and that's when I had to finally quit using that .30-06.
But as far as other guns, you know, I don't know.
I'm just kind of a traditional old school guy, and I use a .300 Rum right now for elk, you know, Remington Ultramag.
And, you know, those cartridges, you put them next to a .375, if you don't look real close, you can't hardly tell a damn difference.
