I'm just trying to make the same simple thing over and over and over.

I start with just one pound.

How can I take one pound of clay?

And every single time I get slightly different results, I'm trying to get to the point where every time I hit that one pound of clay, it's going to come out exactly the same.

Not exactly, but within the ballpark.

Obviously, hand-throwing, everything's slightly different, but...

eat them on my fifth one and it rips in half.

I was like, why is that?

Why is that happening?

I just did five good ones.

And then my sixth one, I rip it in half.

Like what, like, what am I doing wrong?

And so I saw somebody make the note of intentionally break it.

And I wasn't trying to intentionally break it, but I got to that point where I broke it.

And, uh, but I did see some teacher said,

They make all their students pull up until it rips, so they understand the edge.

So I need to do that more.

But the idea of just repetitive, getting used to it, understanding it.

So long story short, I had a couple of little breakthroughs last night, which was nice.

And I feel like I need to jump right back into it again.
