I think that's something that they definitely would prefer.
If we can't strike a trade, let's let a young guy like an Engstrom, you know, solidify a permanent place in the lineup.
Let's let some of our youngsters come in and prove themselves and earn that spot.
I love them.
I think they're perfect targets for the Canadians right now.
Tons of experience, a lot of grit, some meanness there with both players.
They're going to be physical.
They're going to make the opponent pay to get to the net.
The type of guy that we referenced in the beginning of this show where, you know, you need those guys in the playoffs.
Maybe they're not going to be flashy.
They're not going to rack up a lot of points during the season.
But their value goes threefold when it comes to the postseason.
And those are the type of guys that I think, I don't think they would have beat the Carolina Hurricanes if they had those two.
But they would have had a better chance.
Carolina wouldn't have had an open lane right to the net almost every time they stepped on the ice.
Because let's face it, as ugly as it was, it could have been uglier if not for Jakub Tobis.
Uh, and he put on, on display.
So I think those are two perfect fits there.
And I agree with JD and his article there on the sick podcast.com.
And by the way, to, you know, uh, not to veer away here, but I just want to give JD Lagrange and Nick Levy.
