So they've kind of underwhelmed.
And if you remember after this season came out, and there was a lot of times during the playoffs and during games, like we would see Nathan McKinnon really reeling into his teammates, whether it's on the ice or on the bench.
And, you know, everybody respects the fact that he is one of, if not the most passionate players and most dedicated players in the NHL.
I'd say it's between him and Sidney Crosby, in my opinion.
Nobody has any issue with it.
But sometimes, and it's not just Nathan McKinnon, we've seen it in every pro sport.
Sometimes, like I saw it in Boston at times, and he got it under control.
I think somebody might have had a talk with him, but at times...
When I was covering the Bruins during the Zanon Char days and early on when he got to Boston, there were times where he had a lot of problems understanding how his teammates couldn't play at the level he was at.
Not everybody was him.
Like, why can't this guy go full speed here?
Why can't this guy pulverize this guy in the corner?
And sometimes what happens is superstars...
expect a little too much from their teammates.
I feel like, and I've been told by people within the organization, that that is the case with Nathan McKinnon.
And at times, it's rubbed some of the teammates the wrong way.
Not to the point where they're like, get him out of here or I want out of here.
Nothing like that.
It hasn't wheeled over to that point.
But all I'm saying is, this guy right now, you look at their roster, you look at what they have to do with Cal McCarran.
