Yeah, I mean, we should start this by saying, obviously, we don't know what the intention was.
I mean, we haven't heard anything from the Kremlin so far, other than in the last few minutes, we're told that Vladimir Putin is aware of the situation.
But that's the fear, isn't it?
That by going into NATO airspace, these little sort of testing jabs by Russia to see exactly what would happen.
So the German military have said that they think within five years or so, the Russians are going to be in a position and may well try and take an actual nibble of NATO territory.
And the idea is that all of these little things, little provocations are about testing NATO defences, testing NATO reactions and testing NATO resolve.
