Well, Roberto Mancini is really a popular choice, I have to say, or at least a controversial choice because Italians do love him.
He coached Italy from 2018 to 2023.

So he resigned in 2023.
Italians don't like him because he took a short stint coaching Saudi Arabia.
They hold that against him, but I think they're willing to give him a go.
I think it's worse for Italy because it's an ageing population and not enough young people coming up through the ranks.

Well, we've seen a couple of incidents like this in Italy, and so people are quite sensitive about it.
Now, she's pledged to get to the bottom of what happened, but she's also condemned attacks on police and accuses elements of the left of fuelling hostility.
