So I'm getting to experience it a little differently and see like a bit more of that, of that money and how it's spent.
And thinking about Apple specifically, which, um, wasn't the hot, you know, didn't get the most nominees out of the various platforms, but performed quite well in the Emmy nominations this year.
Their model right now, which is a huge money loser, right?
Seems as such.
I think they would report if there was profitability.
But it's not even just numbers.
It's just like money in money.
Like, you know, they don't have ads and they pour billions of dollars into like billion of the B into their content.
So it's almost like a...
if you look at like Apple and Amazon, these are just sort of like, oh, and we have a streamer, you know, we make all of our money on our devices or we make all of our money with people buying toilet paper in Amazon's case.
And then also we have a streamer because Tim Cook and Jeff Bezos want to be part of the Hollywood.
And so like Tim Cook, let's say specifically with Apple, wanting to like be at the Emmys and be part of the Emmy conversation.
And obviously Tim Cook's about to not be the chief over there, but Tim Cook,
wanting to be part of that Hollywood conversation means that Apple is chasing a certain kind of show, which means that the Apple lineup, to me right now, looks a bit like what HBO did a while ago.
I mean, safer, I would agree with.
I wouldn't even agree with vanilla, honestly.
But, like, and there are Apple shows that both of us really love.
Of course, yeah.
Of course.
But, like, and that star model that they have.
