I think we're both right.

I think that Ford and Apple have had a longstanding relationship.

And we had, as I talked with Farley, had thought that maybe Ford was going to do CarPlay Ultra.

But Farley, on your very show about a year ago, told me, on Decoder, told me that, I don't have the quotes in front of me, but basically frustrated with Apple because Apple was asking for too much data and too much of the control of the clusters and all the stuff in the car.

So I think these two companies were talking, and a deal was struck somehow around, we want to work with Apple.

These are some of the most valuable data things we want from you, Maps being one of them.

They're going to also be using this for self-driving capabilities and to build a platform on.

And this is where they got.

And so in this next EV platform of the future that Ford is making, this is sort of the Apple contribution.

And it's not Google, right?

And I think that ultimately it was Apple was this, they were saying, hey, look at CarPlay Ultra.

And Farley and his team were like, no, we want some parts of what you want, but we don't want you to control everything.
