That's not totally true.
So let's do the history.
For a long, long, long, long time, the history is basically like one episode after another of a lack of accountability, whether we're talking about President Bill Clinton or President Donald Trump getting elected after the Access Hollywood tape.
Then these stories come along.
Fall of 2017, Me Too happens.
Debbie, for a year, the impact is on both sides.
For the first year, it was not politicized.
I even remember seeing tallies in that first year of how many Democratic and Republican politicians had fallen because of Me Too, and the numbers were equal.
We forget this now, but it happened.
And it was a beautiful moment because it was actually about the women, right?
