My first memory is London.
The first time I ever remember being alive, sat on a gorilla at London Zoo.
Not an alive gorilla, but there's a statue of a gorilla in London Zoo.
And I remember it being a special day because we travelled.
I was with my grandparents.
We travelled on a coach tour up into London.
We went to London Zoo.
And I remember it being an extraordinary day because I was away from Canterbury, where I was born and grew up.
And I remember being far away from home and that being an exciting experience.
My mother, she's still around and she's thriving and she's recently divorced and she's absolutely loving life.
She's a very close friend, I would say, to me as well.

um my mum's a lot more quiet than than i am my dad was a little more outgoing i think i get my performance side from my father my mum my mum's always been a little more timid's probably the wrong word but reserved um she's i had very very loving parents growing up my dad not so much when i hit my mid-teens um but my but my family we were very close-knit family and lots of love lots of love who was your father
my father was alan he passed away a few years ago he really he really helped evolve my and encourage my creative flair what did he do for a living he was a color artist so he'd get sent prints from places in in in london and and watercolor them in but like really like amazing war prints and things yeah he did we converted the loft into his studio space and there was always lots of
music playing in there and I'd go up and hang out in the loft and we listened to David Bowie and Prince and Madonna.
They did up until they divorced when I was about 16.
I believe I was probably the catalyst of their divorce.
I kind of threw a cat amongst the pigeons and it was probably a long time coming anyway by that point.
