We're at heaven.

We're in the departure lounge at heaven and they've got drinks tickets in their handbag and I don't have to buy my own drink at the bar.

Anyway, so you were a regular at Heaven.

I was also down on my knees at Heaven.

I was hanging out with these drag queens and they were just sort of celebrities to me.

They were like actual Clubland superstars.

And I thought, I want to do drag.

And I think dressing as a girl is not how I describe my early days in drag.

There was lots of experimentation with club kid looks and blue face paint and flower pots on my head and different kind of...

At some point I was just dressing like an alien.

Just anything that would make me as different as possible and stand out.

I had gone to the MAC cosmetic store on Carnaby Street and had my eye makeup done.

The girl had asked me, you know, what do you want?

I said, just really simple, just some flicks and just some blue eyeshadow and just want to look like a gorgeous girl.
