I have a good friend who just had her first solo show in March and April.
And what she did is, a lot of her paintings, she's from Mexico, born and raised on the Mexican-Texas border, Mexico-Texas border.
And so a lot of her work is very, very much influenced by her upbringing, but it's not completely obvious all the time, you know, what it's all about.
And so she, next to each painting, she wrote a little story.
Again, it was like five sentences, six sentences, something like that, and tacked it up next to each painting.
She had the most, like she sold so much work, it was insane.
Wow.
the story is so important.
So anything you can do, and I know words are important to you and music is important.
So anytime you could incorporate telling that story, you've got to do it.
You already know it intuitively, but we've all got to do it.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And when if we do try to appeal to everyone, we will appeal to no one.
We will have the most boring art ever because we don't want to upset anybody.
We don't want to say too much.
We don't want to say too little.
And that's where you'll have to fight that perfectionism within that.
And the more you can just paint unfiltered.
the more that that is going to serve you, you know, in selling your work.
