And you know, given the relationships around here, maybe she is a cousin to most of us.

So uh yeah, one of the stories I'd like to tell you, Steve, when I was on this massive tour right after I graduated from BU 2017, you know, going all over the US, and we had this production assistant, I think now the PC.
Term as tour coordinator.
A British woman, she was extraordinarily jaded, right?
Like she's very funny and all that, but just really jaded.
And she had been at this business for decades.
And so she had almost nothing good to say about any major star.
Most of it was salacious gossip or, you know, horrific, incriminating stories that if it was told, then uh these
guys would either be drugged to a prison or uh given a a membership in the Illuminati.
But
She toured with Dolly Parton for two or three years and said that she was the most wonderful woman, just person that she had ever met.
But as an employer, she was extremely understanding.
She wanted the job done, but she was very understanding, very generous.
At one point, the British PA in question had fallen on hard times and Dolly Parton just gave her the money.
to get her through, never ask for it back.
So I you know, this is just uh roadie lore, but the lore around Dolly Parton is very different than most of the other artists.
You know, by all accounts she was as sweet and and kind and as generous as you you hear in the the news.
Uh yeah, without a doubt.
