J. Will said, if LeBron or Steph dropped 61-10-10 in a game this time of year, we'd shut down the internet, yada, yada, yada, yada.

ESPN would talk about it for two days straight, but when Joker does it, it's just another night. Why? Because he doesn't look the part. He's not flashy, not loud, but make no mistake, skill for skill, he's already outpacing Shaq, Hakeem, and even Kareem. We're just afraid to say it. Joker isn't just the best player in the world.

He's quietly building one of the greatest legacies we've ever seen, and media is still acting like it's a fluke. And Mark Lamont took that and said... I would agree with that. And I couldn't believe that you said that.

So I will say in fairness, I didn't read all, I wouldn't read all that. I was really fact in the first half of it, if he dropped these big numbers, we'd be bragging and talking about it. That I would say. To the second part though. Because I was ready to argue about the second part with you.

I just don't think it matters. Statistically, he is outpacing Shaq and Olajuwon. I just think it's a different era. And so it doesn't mean the same thing. Yeah. It means absolutely nothing. A perfect example is rebounding. Rebounds are a lot easier to get in today's NBA because a lot of teams' bigs abandon the basket and go up the court.

That's why you see a lot of point guards now averaging eight, nine rebounds a game. So Jokic's rebounds are not the same as Shaq's rebounds. If I had to pick a guy to win me a game right now, I'd still go with Shaq. Of course. Of course. Not Jokic.

of course you would right but I do think that Jokic is so great and so extraordinary that now we act like the shit is normal because it's just like when James Harden and Russ Westbrook were getting triple doubles every night we started acting like a triple double wasn't a big deal and it's like if they're that easy to get other people would get them exactly the league's changed it's easier than in the 50s but it ain't or the 80s but Shaq averaged 23.7 points a game in his long career
