When he's saying throwing people open, if somebody's on you on the top shoulder and you put it to the back shoulder, like just a regular quarterback, you have to have ball placement and you gotta be able to read.

You want him to go short so then the dig can open up behind you.
So you look down and then you throw it to the dig.
So it is like you're manipulating the defenses.
