So I sat around and actually took, I wrote notes by my, at that time I was a big note taker.
We built relationships and conversations.
And not just talking to somebody, really listening to somebody.
We were talking about that before we started doing this.
To really listen to somebody.
People will have a conversation kind of, but do we really listen to one another?
And a lot of times the answer is no.
But that was my first takeaway.
And then what happened because of that?
We trusted each other.
I mean, and I know everybody wants more ground balls, choreographed early work, all kinds of data information, booklets on the bench.
You don't start there.
You start by relationship building, listening to people.
Then you build trust.
And then you can exchange ideas.

He's not listening to me right now.
It's my way.
