In short, he put in a Freedom of Information request to Sport Ireland just to get a sense of testing in Irish rugby for doping.

And he got a confusing picture initially in that Sean McDermott in Sport Ireland told them, we don't do that.

We have no responsibility for drug testing in the AIL.

So that was the Sport Ireland response.

Initially, the RFU, slightly confused, said, no, in a normal season, Sport Ireland and World Rugby are very much involved.

It's their patch.

And then eight days later, Sport Ireland got back to him and said, no, wait, actually, we are involved in drug testing in the AIL.

Apologies for confusion.

So eventually, Crispin got the records, which showed that in the AIL...

Last season, there were a grand total of two anti-doping tests in the whole season.

And if you take the last 10 years of AIL, there were a grand total of, in 10 years, 34 tests.
