I'm not a method guy.
I'll put it that way.
Okay, good start.
That's why I tended to gravitate toward a lot of the British actors.
I mean, I got to know Ben Kingsley pretty well because we did two movies together.
We did Bugsy and we did Searching for Bobby Fischer together.
So it became pretty close.
And that's what I mean.
Ben is Ben.
But Ben doesn't, you know what I mean?
And we could be like talking like we are right now.
And all of a sudden they said action.
He'd become whatever he'd become, and I would try to become what I'd become, and we'd do our thing.
They say cut, then we go back to this.
So I guess my point being I follow that school of it.
I just think it's maybe just the way you've been trained or the way you've been affected in your formative years of becoming, let's say, an actor.
In other words, if you have a certain kind of training where it's been instilled in you, you should try this and do this.
And maybe if you want to be a homeless person, you should go live on the streets for three weeks and even off hours, act that way and don't let people address you by your real name.
