And it was just, it turned into the perfect tournament, you know, like how Shane Lowry kept it together given what was going on around the course yesterday. matched

But there's a guy who like literally this time last week would be saying this guy has a bit of white line fever. matched

He gets a bit too distracted or down on himself and he can't win. matched

And not only did he win, he obliterated the field and dealt with some of the most bizarre distractions I've ever, ever encountered on a golf course. matched

I don't think there's many golfers have ever played that well. matched

And I don't want to overblow this because it's an Irish winner, but I think for the sake of analysing this properly, we have to just analyse this for what it is golf wise. matched

If Scotty Scheffler had come to Doonbeg and performed like Sean Lowry did last week, we'd be sitting around saying, well, that's the top drawer stuff. matched

Because he hit it beautifully off the tee. matched

He's as long as anybody. matched

We know his irons are good. matched

And on the one hand, you could kind of say, well, look, that was out there for what is a fairly short, as links go, a fairly short links that has spongy greens and quite benign four days compared to what sometimes you usually get. matched
